GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMICS & REVENUE AFFAIRS (REVENUE DIVISION) * * * * * Islamabad, the January 9th, 1999 NOTIFICATION ( CUSTOMS ) S.R.O. 10(I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 98 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to - (i) extend warehousing period in respect of the goods warehoused under Manufacturing in |Bond Rules, 1997, for a further period of two years which shall commence beyond the expiry of stipulated period for which such goods may remain in the warehouse under rule 19 of the Manufacturing Bond Rules, 1997; and (ii) remit surcharge payable under the said section in the case of goods which are used in the manufacture of export goods and the finished goods are re-exported in the manner prescribed in the aforesaid Rules notified vide Notification No. S.R.O.1140(I)/97, dated the 6th November, 1997, before the expiry of extended period as given in (I) above. 2. This Notification shall apply to all the goods imported and warehoused under, Manufacturing in Bond Rules, 1997, provided that the cumulative warehousing period allowed under rule 19 of the aforesaid Rules and the extension period admissible under this notification does not exceed five years. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [C.No.3(105)Rebate/97] (M.
