Amendment in SRO 389(I)2001

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS AND REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) *** Islamabad, the 18th June, 2003 NOTIFICATION (SALES TAX) S.R.O. 590 (I)/2003.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1A) and clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 the Federal Government is pleased to direct that in its Notification No. S.R.O. 389(I)/2001,dated the 18th June, 2001, the following further amendments shall be made and shall be deemed to have been so made on the 7th June, 2003, namely: - In the aforesaid Notification, in the table, - (a) against Serial No. 2A in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Soya-been”, the words “Import of soya-been” shall be substituted; (b) against Serial No. 2B in column (1), in column (2), for the words” Ground-nut”, the words “Import of ground-nut” shall be substituted; (c) against Serial No. 2C in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Palm”; the words “Import of palm” shall be substituted; (d) against Serial No. 2D in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Sunflower-seed”; the words “Import of Sunflower-seed” shall be substituted; (e) against Serial No. 2E in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Coconut (copra)”; the words “Import of Coconut (copra)” shall be substituted; (f) against Serial No. 2F in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Rape”; the words “Import of rape” shall be substituted; (g) against Serial No. 2G in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Other fixed vegetable”; the words “Import of other fixed vegetable” shall be substituted; (h) against Serial No. 2H in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Vegetable”; the words “Import of vegetable” shall be substituted; (i) against Serial No. 2I in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Edible mixtures”; the words “Import of edible mixtures” shall be substituted; (j) against Serial No. 2J in column (1), in column (2), for the words “Vegetable”; the words “Import of vegetable” shall be substituted; ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [C.No.1/5-STB/2003] ( Zafar ul Majeed ) Additional Secretary
