NOTIFICATION
(SALES TAX)
S.R.O. 405(I)/2001.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, read with section 26 thereof, the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Filing of Monthly Returns Rules, 1996, namely:-
In the aforesaid Rules,-
(1) in rule 1, in sub-rule (2), the comma and words “, excluding the taxpayers liable to pay tax under the fixed sales tax scheme” shall be omitted; and
(2) in rule (6), in sub-rule (2), the words, inverted commas, letter and comma “in the form as at Annex ‘B’,” shall be omitted.
