EXEMPTION FROM SALES TAX ON METAL CONTAINERS USED FOR PACKING OF EDIBLE OILS
6Notification No. S.R.O. 401(I)/83, dated 16th April, 1983.--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 7 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951 (III of 1951), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt metal containers used for the packing of edible oils of vegetable origin or mixtures thereof, having melting or cloud point below 10 degree centigrade from the tax payable under the said Act.
