Import of blankets (acrylic) and acrylic yarn of 32 to 40 metric count

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS AND REVENUE, (REVENUE DIVISION) CENTRAL BOARD OF REVENUE ***** Islamabad, the 7th January, 2005 NOTIFICATION (INCOME TAX) S.R.O. 38(I)/2004.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Second Schedule to the said Ordinance, namely:- In the aforesaid Ordinance, in the Second Schedule, in Part II, after clause (13E), the following new clause shall be added, namely: - “(13F) In respect of import of blankets (acrylic) and acrylic yarn of 32 to 40 metric count if imported for self consumption by blanket manufacturers, the tax under section 148 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 shall be collected at the rate of two percent of the value of such items as increased by customs-duty and sales tax, if any, levied thereon.”. ______________________________________________________________________ [C.No.4(19)TP-I/91-Pt-III] (Salman Nabi) Member(Direct Taxes)/Additional Secretary.
