Further amendment shall be made in the Second Schedule to the Ordinance

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS AND REVENUE, (REVENUE DIVISION) CENTRAL BOARD OF REVENUE ***** Islamabad, the 7th January, 2005 NOTIFICATION (INCOME TAX) S.R.O. 37(I)/2004.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Second Schedule to the said Ordinance, namely:- In the aforesaid Ordinance, in the Second Schedule, in Part II, after clause (13D), the following new clause shall be added, namely: - “(13E) In respect of potassic fertilizers imported in pursuance of Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet’s decision No.ECC-155/12/2004 dated the 9th December, 2004, the tax under section 148 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 shall be collected at the rate of one percent of its import value as increased by customs- duty and sales tax, if any, levied thereon.”. ______________________________________________________________________ [C.No.1(7)WHT/2001] (Salman Nabi) Member(Direct Taxes)/Additional Secretary.
