Regarding Inland Revenue Reward Rules, 2021

NOTIFICATION S.R.O. 2485(I) 12025.- The following draft of further amendments in the Inland Revenue Reward Rules, 2021, which the Federal Board of Revenue proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 227 A and section 2278 of the Income Tax and 72D of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 andOrdinance. 200 I (XLIX of 2001 ), section 72C section 42C and 42D ol the Federal Excise Act, 2005 and the Islamabad Capital Territory (Tax on Services) Ordinance. 2001 (XLII of200l), is hereby published for information of all persons likety to be affected thereby and, as required under sub-section (3) of section 237 of the lncome Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), notice is hereby given that objections or suggestions thereon, ifany, may for consideration ofthe FBR be sent within seven days of publication of this draft notification in this official Gazette. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person. before the expiry of the aforesaid period, shall be taken into consideration by the Board. DRAFT AMENDMENT ln the aforesaid rules, in rule 6, for clause (ii), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(ii) The amount of reward for meritorious services shall not be more than twenty-four salaries during the financial year in the case of each employee.".
