Amendments Income Tax Rule, 1982 Previously Published As Required By Sub-Section (4) Of Said Section

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN CENTRAL BOARD OF REVENUE Islamabad, the 2nd December, 1998 S.R.O.1355 (I)/98.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 165 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 1979 (XXX of 1979), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Income Tax Rule, 1982 the same having been previously published as required by sub-section (4) of the said section, namely:-- In the aforesaid rules,-- (1) in rule 57, after the word “statement”, the commas, words and figure “required section 141, “shall be inserted; (2) in rule 58, after the word “statement”, the commas, words and figure “, required under section 142,”shall be inserted; (3) in rule 58, after the word “statement”, the commas, words and figure”, required under section 141,”shall be inserted; (4) in rule 61B, after the word “statement” the commas, words (5) and figure “,required under section 140,”shall be inserted; (6) in rule 61C, after the word “statement” the commas, words and figures”, required under section 141,”shall be inserted; and (7) in rule 200,-- (i) in the heading the comma and the word”,rent” shall be omitted; and (ii) in sub-rule (1),-- (a) the comma and the word “,rent” shall be omitted; (b) in the form of statement under section 141, column No. 11,12,13,14,15 and 16 shall be renumbered as 10,11,12,13,14 and 15 respectively; and (c) In verification part of form of statement under section 141, oblique and the word”/rent” appearing between the word”commission” and oblique shall be omitted.
