S.R.O. 1275(I)/99.--
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 1979 (XXXI of 1979), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Second Schedule to the said Ordinance, namely :-
In the aforesaid Schedule, in Part IV, after clause (6HA) the following new clause shall be inserted, namely :-
"(6HB)The provisions of section 13, Chapters XI or XII of this Ordinance shall not apply in respect of any amount paid by the 16th November, 1999, towards the settlement of debt owed to a banking company or a financial institution or by way of any tax or other Government dues."
