Draft amendments in the Inland Revenue Reward Rules, 2021

NOTIFICATION S.R.O. 1226(l)12026.- The following draft of certain further amendments in the lnland Revenue Reward Rules, 2021, which the Federal Board of Revenue proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 227 Aand section 2278 of the lncome Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), section 72C and72D ofthe Sales Tax Act, 1990 and section 42C and 42D ofthe Federal Excise Act, 2005 and the Islamabad Capital Tenitory (Tax on Services) Ordinance,200l (XLll of 2001), is hereby published for infonnation of all persons likely to be ril'fected thereby and, as required by sub-section (3) of section 237 of the said (Jldinance, notice is hereby given that objections or suggestions thereon, if any, rnay for consideration of the Board be sent within seven days of publication of the amendments in the offrcial Gazette. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person, befbre the expiry of the aforesaid period, shall be taken into consideration by the Board, namely:- DRAFTAMENDMENTS In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 8,- (a) for the expression "5olo", the expression "2oh" shall be substituted; (b) for the word and figure "Rule 5", the words "these rules" shall be substituted; and (c) for the expres sion "2.5o/o" , the expression " 1%" shall be substituted.
