Amendments in Independent Case Scrutiny Committees for Federal Excise

NOTIFICATION S.R.O. 1238 (l)12026.- In exercise ofthe powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 34AA read with section 40 and 43 ofthe Federal Excise Act, 2005, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Federal Excise Rules, 2005, namely:- In the aforesaid Rules, in Chapter XVII, in rule 93, in sub-rule (3), (i) in Committee No. 1, in the Table, against S. Nos. i.2 and 3, in column (4), in paragraph (iv). the expression "CTO Islamabad." shall be omitted; (i') in Committee No. 2. in the Table, against S. Nos. 1. 2 and 3, in column (4), in paragraph (iv), for the expression "RTO Lahore,", the expression "RTO-I Lahore, RTO-ll Lahore." shall be substitutedl and (iii) in Committee No. 3, in the Table, against S. Nos. i,2 and 3, in column (4), in paragraph (iv), for the expression "CTO Karachi,", the expression "CTO-I Karachi, CTO-II Karachi," shall be substituted. I C.
