S.R.O. __ (I)/2001 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the
Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of Sales Tax Act,
1990, the Federal Government is pleased to exempt from so much of the Customs-duty as is in
excess of ten percent leviable under the First Schedule to the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and
whole of the Sales Tax on all unsold, or undisposed of, vehicles, imported under the Yellow Cabs
Scheme for Revamping Public Transport System, subject to the condition that the aforesaid vehicles
shall be sold in the market by the importer or title or lien holder or official assignee upto 31st March,
2001.
