No. 9364(I)/2001 S.R.O.________(I)/2001: - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969(IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 369(I)/2000, dated the 17th June 2000, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification:- (1) in clause (b):- (i) the words “or agro-based industries” shall be omitted; (ii) the word “and”, at the end, shall be omitted: (2) in clause (c); (a) the words “or export industries” shall be omitted; (b) for the word and dash “provided” the semicolon and word “;and “ shall be substituted: (c) sub-clause (i) shall be omitted: and (d) the brackets, figure, word and comma “(ii) the export industry annually exports minimum average fifty percent of its production in first ten years, “ shall be omitted; (3) after clause (c), amended as aforesaid, the following new clause shall be added, namely:- “(d) The export industries shall be exempt from whole of customs-duties leviable under the First Schedule to the said Act provided the export industry annually exports minimum average fifty percent of its production in first ten years and for expansion of existing unit, they should export 50% of additional capacity created under expansion.” (4) for the Table-II the following shall be substituted, namely:- “TABLE-II Sr.No. Type of industry (1) (2) Priority Industries. 1. Radiators for central heating, non-electrical heating and parts thereof, of iron or steel 4. Industrial chains for power transmission and parts thereof. 5. Sewing needles and knitting needles. CHEMICAL AND ALLIED INDUSTRIES: 1. Hydrocabons and their Halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives. 2. Industrial alcohols and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives. 3. Phenols, phenol-alcohols, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives. 4. Ethers, alcohol peroxides, ether peroxides, ketone peroxides, epoxides with a three membered ring, acetals and hemiacetals, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives. 5. Aldehyde-function compounds. 6. Ketone-function compounds and quinone-function compounds. 7. Carboxylic acids and their anhydrides, halides peroxides and peroxyacids and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrates or nitrosated derivaties. 8.
