GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTIC AND REVENUE ( REVENUE DIVISION ) *** Islamabad, the 12th June, 1999. NOTIFICATION ( CUSTOMS ) S.R.O. 738 (I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1999 (II of 1999), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 962(I)/98, dated the 8th September, 1998, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,- (1) in the preamble,- (a) after the word "leviable", the words, "under the First Schedule to the said Act" shall be inserted; and (b) after the word and comma "trucks," the words and comma "not manufactured locally," shall be inserted; (2) in Explanation, the existing entry shall be numbered as entry (i); (3) after entry (i) numbered as aforesaid the following new entry shall be added; namely:- "(ii). For the purposes of this notification the expression "not manufactured locally" shall mean the goods which are not included in the list of locally manufactured goods, specified in the General Order issued by the Central Board of Revenue".
