GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTIC AND REVENUE ( REVENUE DIVISION ) *** Islamabad, the 12th June, 1999. NOTIFICATION ( CUSTOMS ) S.R.O. 702 (I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1999 (II of 1999), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 70(I)/95, dated the 19th January, 1995, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,- i) in the preamble, in clauses (a) and (b), after the word "customs-duty", the words, comma, brackets and figures "leviable under the First Schedule to the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969)," shall be inserted; and ii) after the word "Explanation" the brackets and figure "(i)" shall be inserted and after sub-clause (4) the following new clause shall be added, namely:-" (ii) For the purposes of this notification the expression "not manufactured locally" shall mean the goods which are not included in the list of locally manufactured goods, specified in the General Order, issued by the Central Board of Revenue".
