(Customs, Sales Tax and Income Tax)
Islamabad, the ot April, 2022
S.R.O. 169-(I)/2022. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs
Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and
sections 53 and 148 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), the Federal Government
is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.
S.R.0 499(1)/2013, dated the 12th June, 2013, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, -
in the heading, after the words "Customs", the comma and words", Sales
Tax" shall be omitted; and
in paragraph,-
after the expression "(IV of! 969)," the words, "clause (a) of sub-
section (2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990", shall be omitted;
and
(ii) after the words "custom duty", the expression ", sales tax" shall be
omitted.
