Amendments in Notification No. S.R.O 693(I)/2006, dated the 1st July, 2006.

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) ***** Islamabad, the 13th June, 2009. NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS) S.R.O 491 (I)/2009.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O 693(I)/2006, dated the 1st July, 2006, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,- (1) in the Table, (a) against S. No. (6) in column (1), in column (2) after the figure “87.03” the brackets, words and figures, “(excluding 4-stroke auto rickshaw of PCT heading 8703.2115)” shall be added; (b) after S. No. (6) in column (1), and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4) the following new S. No. and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely; “6.a 4-stroke auto rickshaw Appendix-I 30% ad of PCT heading val.”; and 8703.2115 (c) against S. No. 9 in column (1), in column (4) for the figure “30”, the figure “32.5” shall be substituted; (2) In Appendix-I,- (i) against PCT heading 8409.9111 in column (1), in column (2) after item (5), the following new items shall be added, namely; “(6) Piston (7) Sprocket Cam”; (ii) after PCT heading 8425.4900 in column (1), the

following PCT heading and entries relating thereto in column (2) shall be inserted, namely; “8481.8020 - - - Cock for fuel tank for vehicles of heading 87.11”; (iii) against PCT heading 8537.1010 in column (1), in column (2) after the word “boxes” the words “with fuses” shall be inserted; (iv) against PCT heading 8708.2931 in column (1), in column (2) under entry (B), in item (7) for the word “dooe” the word “door” shall be substituted; (v) against PCT heading 8708.9930 in column (1), in column (2) under entry (F) in items (9) and (10) for the word “stearing” the word “steering” shall be substituted; (vi) against PCT heading 8708.9940 in column (1), in column (2) under entry (B) in item (11) for the word “stearing” the word “steering” shall be substituted; (vii) against PCT heading 8714.1910 in column (1), in column (2) in item (7) for the word “paddle” the word “pedal” shall be substituted and after item (47) the following new item shall be added, namely; “(48) Clutch Assembly” and (3) In Appendix-II, against PCT heading 8708.9220 in column (1), in column (2) the PCT heading “8701.2060” shall be omitted. 2.
