(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O 376 (I)/2002.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the Customs Act,
1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following amendments
in the Customs Rules, 2001, namely:-
In the aforesaid Rules,-
(1) in rule 4, in clause (c) after the word “ machine” at the end, the words but shall cover
the aforesaid items of locally manufactured and purchased from Duty Free Shops;
and
(2) in rules 15,-
(a) in clause (a) for the word “seven” the word “eight” shall be substituted; and
(b) in clause (b) for the word “twelve” the word “fifteen” shall be
substituted.
